Metro Glasstech | Napier

Metro Glasstech required extensive alterations to their existing glazing facility.  An Auckland based property designer, builder and developer was engaged to do the work however, they knew of our capabilities from previous contracts and brought us in to take on the build.

The transformation of the workshop into a multi-purpose factory, office and showroom, covering all aspects of the glass industry had to be completed within tight timeframes and around the existing operation.

We constructed a timber and steel extension for the offices and showroom to separate them from the factory area. The entire structure was then re-cladded to bring it together as a whole.   A large forecourt and driveway was added for commercial vehicles, trucks and customer parking.

Once the new facility was finished, Pro-Structure removed the obsolete building from the site.

The showroom has a floor to ceiling glass frontage, elegantly highlighted with glass louvers and bright yellow columns. This structure has well defined areas for each aspect of the business, but brings them together with uniformity and clarity.
